Isotopes Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Utes
The Springfield Isotopes knocked off the Utah Utes, 8-5, at Duff Field. Brienne Tarth was a big reason Springfield won. The designated hitter was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. With the victory, the Isotopes upped their record to 23-23.

Tarth had a key at-bat for Springfield early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and gave Springfield an early 3-0 lead.

"We take it day by day here," said Tarth, "and today was a good one for us."
