Dominguez, Baltimore Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the New York Knights home opener. Mark Stevens started for the home team against Roberto Dominguez for the Baltimore Colts. The Knights were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 1-0, Baltimore. Roberto Dominguez, though, was impressive. Bob Flynn earned the save for Baltimore, his 1st of the year.

Dominguez, the Baltimore left-hander, went 7.2 innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits. He collected 7 strikeouts.

"We squandered some opportunities," said New York manager Gabriel Gonzalez.
