The Toledo Mud Hens picked up a win at Ballpark of Texas, knocking off the Texas Gunfighters, 4-3. On the mound for Toledo was left-hander Dorian Ivey, who played a pivotal role in the win. Ivey got the win, improving to 5-3. He allowed 2 hits and walked 7 over 7 innings. Ivey allowed 2 runs. Getting the save was Jesus Palmeiro, his 15th.

Toledo used the clutch hitting of Jacob Tillman to capture the win. The center fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Mud Hens the lead, 4-2. For the game, Tillman had 1 single and 1 double in 3 at-bats.

Texas manager Pudge Fernandez said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.

Toledo raised its record to 23-22 with the win.
