Gamblers Lose to Colts, 4-3
|
The Baltimore Colts beat the Las Vegas Gamblers, 4-3. Baltimore pitcher and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, native Roberto Dominguez led the way. Chad Arnold, credited with the win, is now 2-1. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits. Bob Flynn got credit for the save for Baltimore. It was his 8th of the year.
Tadanobu Suzuki hit a run-scoring double off Steve Rice in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Colts in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Suzuki had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Suzuki said.
Baltimore now has a record of 29-22 with the win.
