The Hollywood B's got a stellar performance from pitcher Michael Simpson, who handcuffed the Alaska offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Bee Hive. The win belongs to Russell Miller in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Tony Bastard took the loss for Alaska. The win for the B's lifted their record to 28-23.
Marcos Dominguez went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk for Hollywood. The 35-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Tony Bastard. It was his 16th walk of the season.
"Winning never gets dull," said Simpson.
