Burrows Leads Knights to 5-4 Win Over Stars
|
Tim Burrows was a vital contributor to the 5-4 New York victory over Miami. The Knights left fielder was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. With the victory, the Knights upped their record to 29-21.
Burrows contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing double, for New York in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-2, Burrows took a cutter from Chance Eaton and stroked the double to right-center. His 5th double of the season allowed the Knights to leap in front, 5-3.
"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Burrows told the New York Today.
