With 4-1 Win, Cobra Improve to 28-25
|
Starting pitcher Silvanos Tonka was a major factor in the 4-1 New York Cobra triumph over the Florida Penguins. The Cobra, at 28-25, lead by one game in their division.
Lee Thompson, the two-time Glove Wizard Award winner , had a direct impact on the outcome. Thompson contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the second inning to put New York up, 2-0.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Tonka.
