The Springfield Isotopes got a good effort from starter Carson Olsen in defeating the Toledo Mud Hens at Toledo Ballpark. The final score was 3-2. Lou Watson nailed down his 13th save. The Isotopes are now 26-28, while the Mud Hens fall to 26-26.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Rick Andrews? The Springfield center fielder had a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put the Isotopes on top, 2-1. For the game, Andrews had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
