Burrows Hits 2 home runs in Knights Win
The New York Knights topped the Mars Eyebiters, 10-6, in Superior Conference action at Mars Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of New York left fielder Tim Burrows. The winner was Gary Smith, who threw 109 pitches over 6 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 7 hits. With the win, New York pushed its record to 31-22.

Ramon Duran, the 24-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Duran contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put New York up, 4-0.
