Gamblers Get One-Run Win at Chicago
Both teams had their chances, but the Las Vegas Gamblers eventually prevailed.

Las Vegas starter Matt Summerville pitched well against the Chicago Winds at Wrigley Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 10-9. Brian Ohman converted his 1st save in 1 tries.

Las Vegas used a well-timed hit by Draal Kanjigarson to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Gamblers ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"We came out aggressive," said Gamblers manager Ray Brooks. "We came out swinging the bats."

With the victory, the Gamblers upped their record to 33-25.
