Bandits Top Shockers to Even Record

The Los Angeles Shockers and Bay Area Bandits provided some drama for the home crowd.
Bay Area Bandits starter Anthony Henderson was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Los Angeles Shockers, 2-1. Chris Townsend converted his 11th save in 12 tries.
Miguel Cruz, who is on pace for 208 hits this season, chipped in for Bay Area with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Henderson said.
Los Angeles now has a 5-game losing streak.
