Gamblers Deal Autobots 3-2 Defeat
|
Las Vegas Gamblers starter Shawn Finley pitched his team past the Phoenix Autobots, 3-2. The winning pitcher was Finley, now 2-0. He tossed 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 6. Phoenix falls to 4-4.
Las Vegas used the clutch hitting of Chris Winter to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Gamblers the lead, 3-2. For the game, Winter had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Finley said.
