The Toledo Mud Hens downed the Texas Gunfighters, 6-5, at Toledo Ballpark. Tsutomu Sato led the way, going 4-for-6 for Toledo. The triumph puts Toledo at 33-31 for the season.

The Mud Hens procured the win, in large part because of third baseman Jorge Hernandez. In the bottom of the 15th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"This is a resilient bunch," said Toledo manager Miles O'Brien.
