MC Selects Rookie Star of the Month Saturday, September 1st, 2018 Youngster Mike McLeod emerged as the latest Major Conference Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Portland deserved the honor, batting .291 with 7 home runs and 14 runs batted in. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let McLeod enjoy the limelight. This year McLeod is batting .249 with 109 hits and 18 home runs. He has scored 63 times and has batted in 40 runs. |
