Zero Hour: Curry Blanks Snow Sox Sunday, September 23rd, 2018 Los Angeles Shockers hurler Jason Curry was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Alaska Snow Sox, shutting them out 9-0 on 5 hits. "Jason was very aggressive tonight," Los Angeles manager Don Muttonly said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence." Through 9 innings, Curry tallied 6 strikeouts and allowed no walks. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager Todd Reynolds said. "Curry has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that off-speed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off." To date this season Curry sports a 18-9 mark with a 2.89 ERA in 32 starting assignments.
