Superior Conference Picks Top Player Monday, August 28th , 2023 26-year-old Donald Allen sent shock waves through Major Superior League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Superior Conference Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Allen made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .476 average, 10 hits in 21 at-bats, 4 home runs and 11 runs batted in. Where the Mars Eyebiters second baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Allen certainly made his mark last week. So far this season Allen has gotten 88 hits in 323 at-bats for a .272 batting average with 14 home runs. His stats include 53 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has played in 114 games. |
