Super Swinger -- Galpin Slams 5 Hits Monday, September 18th , 2023 Boston Beaneaters second baseman Willem Galpin really lit up the Louisville Sluggers with a 5-hit barrage today at Slugger Field -- a performance that sparked the Beaneaters to a 8-4 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Willem Galpin singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th. Hitting .331 to date, Galpin has 8 home runs and 38 RBIs.
