New York-Toledo Announce Deal Wednesday, November 29th , 2023 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Knights announced today the acquisition of 35-year old minor league RHP Todd McCarthy from the Toledo Mud Hens in exchange for 19-year old minor league LF Rob Stafford and 20-year old minor league RF Pasqualino Bocci. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Knights, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." So far in his career, McCarthy has 21 saves with a 36-26 record and a 3.56 ERA. |
