Brasser, Rojas Swap Teams Thursday, December 7th , 2023 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Shockers announced today the acquisition of 33-year old RHP Francisco Rojas from the Detroit Devils in exchange for 23-year old minor league LHP John Austin and 24-year old minor league 2B Wendel Brasser. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Shockers, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Detroit will retain a portion of Rojas's remaining contract. Rojas has appeared in 197 games in his career, picked up 3 saves, tossed 521.1 innings and posted a 20-32 record. He has a lifetime ERA of 4.20. |
