Alaska Trades Boyd for St. Louis's Adlesh Tuesday, December 12th , 2023 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Snow Sox announced today the acquisition of 31-year old 1B Dennis Adlesh from the St. Louis Robins in exchange for 23-year old minor league LF Jim Boyd and 24-year old minor league RHP Ed Fraser. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Snow Sox, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." St. Louis will retain a portion of Adlesh's remaining contract. Adlesh has a career .261 batting average and .321 on-base percentage. He has recorded 856 hits with 141 doubles, 19 triples, 85 homers, 368 RBIs and scored 364 runs since coming into the league. |
