Mars-Hollywood Trade: Smith for Richmond Thursday, December 14th , 2023 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Eyebiters announced today the acquisition of 23-year old minor league LHP Simon Richmond and 24-year old minor league RHP Gus Scott from the Hollywood B's in exchange for 26-year old RHP Vincent Smith and $340,000 in cash. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Eyebiters, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." In his career, Smith has 11 saves with a 9-9 record and a 3.64 ERA. |
