Injury Setback for Utes Smallwood Monday, December 18th , 2023 The Utah Utes trainer was the bearer of bad news today, as it was learned Conner Smallwood's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Utes center fielder is being treated for an undisclosed injury. During a routine exam, Smallwood's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another one week. Smallwood has 368 career hits with a .245 batting average and 87 home runs. |
