Utah, Texas Swap Players Friday, December 22nd , 2023 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Utah Utes and the Texas Gunfighters have agreed to a deal that will have 29-year old LF Mike Winters heading to Texas in exchange for 27-year old RHP Taylor Rodgers. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Utah will retain a portion of Winters's remaining contract. In 779 games Winters has a career .248 batting average and a .331 on-base percentage. He has hit 100 home runs with 297 RBIs and 472 runs scored. In career numbers, Rodgers has registered a 35-33 record with a 4.22 ERA. |
