Gunfighters-Dukes Deal: Rocha for Bentley Monday, January 15th , 2024 There were plenty of hugs and handshakes all around as 24-year old minor league RHP Antonio Rocha and 24-year old minor league LF Douglas Simmons left the Texas Gunfighters today en route to joining the Green Day Dukes organization. 26-year old RHP Franklin Bentley and 23-year old minor league RHP Marcos Peña will be traveling to Texas Gunfighters to complete the swap. Green Day will retain a portion of Bentley's remaining contract. Bentley has pitched in 104 games over his career, registering 9 saves and a 9-14 won-lost mark. He has an ERA of 3.95 in 239 innings and 212 strikeouts. |
