Alaska Deals Fox to Cleveland for Funk Thursday, January 18th , 2024 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Snow Sox announced today the acquisition of 22-year old RHP Casimir Funk from the Cleveland Spiders in exchange for 27-year old LHP Peter Fox, 22-year old minor league SS Jeremy Simmons, and $580,000 in cash. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Snow Sox, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams."
