Hollywood, Toledo Trade Players Wednesday, January 24th , 2024 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the B's announced today the acquisition of 30-year old minor league RHP Carl Rice and 23-year old minor league LHP Juan Guzmán from the Toledo Mud Hens in exchange for 23-year old minor league RHP Rodger Roberts. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the B's, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." So far in his career, Rice has 6 saves with a 31-30 record and a 4.04 ERA. |
