Bay Area Deals Lojero to Green Day for Kirkland Tuesday, January 30th , 2024 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Bandits announced today the acquisition of 34-year old minor league RHP Robert Kirkland from the Green Day Dukes in exchange for 23-year old minor league LF Armando Lojero, 20-year old minor league RHP Mike Godfrey, and 22-year old minor league RHP Richard Bradford. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Bandits, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Lifetime Kirkland has been credited with 5 saves, while compiling a 12-8 won-lost mark. |
