Toronto, Orlando Swap Players Thursday, March 21st , 2024 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Toronto Seagulls and the Orlando Rugrats have agreed to a deal that will have 25-year old C Raul Rodriguez heading to Orlando in exchange for 25-year old LF Andrew Holloway and 18-year old minor league LHP Carl Lane. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. In 295 games Rodriguez has a career .246 batting average and a .321 on-base percentage. He has hit 26 home runs with 80 RBIs and 72 runs scored. A check of his lifetime stats shows Holloway has a career .282 average with 109 hits, 20 doubles, 8 triples, 5 home runs and 32 RBIs. To date he has scored 47 runs, walked 21 times and stolen 33 bases. |
