Mud Hens Owner Dead, Toledo Mourns
Thursday, April 4th , 2024
Max Klinger, owner of the Toledo Mud Hens, has passed away. He succumbed to a longtime illness yesterday. The sad news was announced today at a press conference in Toledo. His son, Max Klinger Jr., will take over the ownership of the team. He is said to be a tolerant character with a fiscal personality of penny-pincher.

Update: Apparently this was just an April Fools Day prank, or some bizarre way to celebrate transgender day of visibility. Klinger, 89, remains alive and well. He will however, step back from day to day operations and allow his son Max Jr. to become the team's controlling officer.
