Decepticons-Snow Sox Deal: Riley for García Saturday, April 6th , 2024 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Decepticons announced today the acquisition of 22-year old minor league SS Rafael García from the Alaska Snow Sox in exchange for 30-year old 3B Dave Riley and 27-year old minor league CF Carl McKinley. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Decepticons, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Portland will retain a portion of Riley's remaining contract. During his career, Riley is batting .235 and has totaled 21 home runs. |
