Masuda Leads Beaneaters to Win
The timely hitting of Tsugumichi Masuda helped the Boston Beaneaters down the New York Knights, 7-2. Masuda was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Beaneaters. Picking up the save was Harvey Lee, his 2nd. After losing, New York is 5-3.

Boston grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Masuda hit a 2-run home run off Don Kirkpatrick. His 3rd home run of the season put the Beaneaters out in front, 4-2.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Masuda said after the game.
