The Cleveland Spiders trumped the Chicago Winds, 5-4, at Wrigley Field. Cleveland catcher Roman Mota was terrific. He went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Rafael Romero got the save, his 14th in 18 chances. Cleveland is now 47-44, Chicago 48-43.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Mike Brown? The Cleveland first baseman had a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Spiders on top, 5-4. For the game, Brown had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
