Winds Send Utah Home with 7-5 Loss
Chicago right fielder Mike Winters was a significant contributor in his team's 7-5 triumph over the Utah Utes. He went 1-2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Winds. George Jackson picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Jorge Aleman suffered the loss. Mark Hunter closed it out for Chicago, earning his 3rd save.

Winters had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 3-1 fastball from Jorge Aleman, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Winds a 6-5 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Winters.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Winds manager Rocky Balboni.

With the loss, Utah drops to 6-6.
