The Denver Rabbits extended their winning streak.

Getting a good performance from third baseman George Sheppard, the Denver Rabbits defeated the Toronto Seagulls, 5-3. Sheppard was 2 for 4 with a triple and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Rabbits. Denver has now won 6 games in a row.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Sheppard hit a bases-clearing double off John Morgan. It propelled the Rabbits into the lead, 3-0.

"I still think this team can play even better," Sheppard told the Denver Daily.
