The Toronto Seagulls beat the Green Day Dukes, 6-3, at Duke Stadium. Fernando Flores, in particular, was impressive. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI. Ryan Robinson recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 5 for 5. With the victory, the Seagulls upped their record to 64-56.

There was more than one reason the Seagulls beat the Dukes, but Flores's big at-bat in the top of the third was an important factor. He staked his team to a 4-3 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Flores.
