Knights Win, 4-2, Versus Louisville

The Louisville Sluggers could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Tomas Sanchez into a win. Instead, the New York Knights prevailed, 4-2. Sanchez threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The Sluggers, now 2-11, continue their sluggish start.
The decisive blow was delivered by Ricardo Santana in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 33-year old right-handed pitcher Gustavo Harper to win the game for New York. The home crowd went nuts.
"It was just a matter of executing," said New York manager Michael Patterson.
