Big Day for Soto in 8-1 Winds Win
Winds third baseman Javier Soto left his imprint on his team's 8-1 win over the Springfield Isotopes. Soto was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Chicago in the contest. The loss drops Springfield to 5-8.

With Chicago leading 3-1 in the bottom of the third, Soto hit a changeup from Justin Ferris for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Winds ahead, 5-1.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Soto told the Chicago Times.
