Thanks in large part to center fielder Cale Farmer, the Hollywood B's beat the Portland Decepticons, 8-2. Farmer was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Portland drops to 3-11.

Hollywood right fielder Cesar Corona contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 11th hit of the season and put the B's ahead, 2-1.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said B's manager Keith Grace. "This one was nice to get."
