The Toledo Mud Hens ushered in the 2026 season with a win versus the St. Louis Robins at Toledo Ballpark. The final score was 6-0. Starting Pitcher Michael Farley, who led the SC in ERA with 2.12 last year, had a standout performance.

Toledo took a 3-0 lead on Ramon Duran's 1st double of the season. The 2-run double, which Duran hit in the bottom of the eighth, left St. Louis pitcher Mike Law visibly frustrated.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Duran told the Toledo Herald.
