Alaska Dealt 7-5 Defeat
|
Alaska designated hitter Pat Anderson had a good game, even if his team did not. The Snow Sox dropped a 7-5 decision to Detroit at Devils Stadium. Anderson went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Detroit is now 60-74, Alaska 57-77.
The Devils got a big at-bat from second baseman Chris Murray. For the game, Murray went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 17th home run of the season gave Detroit a 7-5 lead.
"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Murray.
