Lee Excels, But Gamblers Win
|
Mars left fielder Mark Lee had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Lee hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice, even as Las Vegas beat the Eyebiters, 7-6. Jason Moore got the save, the 3rd for him this season. After losing, Mars is 4-10.
In the bottom of the sixth, Las Vegas third baseman Yoon-tae Kim had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and one out, Kim stroked a run-scoring single to left-center. It made the score 7-4, Las Vegas. For the game, he was 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Kim.
