Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Portland Decepticons and Hollywood B's.

Portland Decepticons starter Craig Jenkins turned in a top-notch performance against the Hollywood B's at ConDome. The result was a win for the Decepticons, 3-2. The loss lowers the Hollywood record to 5-9.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder John Ross came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Hollywood pitcher Johnny Brown, he hit a 1-0 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Portland on top, 2-1.

Portland manager Sonic Russell commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
