Detroit catcher Pedro Casillas was instrumental in helping the Devils triumph, 6-3, over the Green Day Dukes. Casillas went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Eric Hunter recorded the save for Detroit, his 2nd of the season. Detroit is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 6th in 15 games.

With Detroit leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Casillas hit a forkball from Todd Kirkham for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Devils ahead, 6-2.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Detroit manager Hokualohi Keohi.
