Denver Tacks 7-0 Loss on Toronto
Chris Townsend, who finished 3rd in the MC in saves with 33 last year, had a strong outing for the Denver Rabbits against the Toronto Seagulls at Toronto Fields. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 7-0 win. The winner was Townsend. He threw 5.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was John Morgan. The second-place Rabbits have won 6 straight games.

Denver used a clutch at-bat from Jimmy Thomas to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Rabbits ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Thomas.
