The Los Angeles Shockers beat the Portland Decepticons, 3-0, at ConDome. Starting pitcher Allan Stroud was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Claudio Dazzi converted his 13th save in 15 tries. At 60-82, the Shockers claim last place in the Major Conference Western Division.

Los Angeles used the hitting of Robb Stark to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Shockers on top, 3-0. For the game, Stark had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Stroud said.
