Shockers Upend Rabbits, 4-0
|
The Los Angeles Shockers downed the Denver Rabbits, 4-0, at Mile Long Stadium. Los Angeles pitcher Ken Caffey definitely brought his A-game. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Shockers.
Los Angeles took a 2-0 lead on Gerardo Collazo's 13th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Collazo hit in the top of the seventh, left Denver pitcher Steve Rice visibly frustrated.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Los Angeles manager Scott Wolcott.
