Wet weather did not postpone the Phoenix-Cleveland ballgame.

The Phoenix Autobots defeated the Cleveland Spiders, 5-4. First Baseman Dave MacDonald deserved a large share of the credit. MacDonald was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs for the Autobots. Cleveland, with the loss, is 6-9.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ren-qing Sun? The Phoenix first baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Autobots on top, 2-0. For the game, Sun had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"We ground out the win," said MacDonald. "That's all that matters."
