Lannister Slugs Hounddogs to 8-3 Win
|
A good performance from designated hitter Jaime Lannister helped the Hawaii Hounddogs defeat the Los Angeles Shockers, 8-3. Lannister went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Hounddogs. The loss drops the Shockers to 9-5.
In the bottom of the fourth inning of a 3-3 tie, Hawaii shortstop Manny Carson Jr. reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. It broke the deadlock and put Hawaii on top, 4-3.
