Beaneaters Get 7-5 Win Versus Mars
With left fielder Erick Reinfelder leading the charge, the Boston Beaneaters defeated the Mars Eyebiters, 7-5, at Fenway Park. Reinfelder, who won the Conan Award in 2018, went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times. With the win over Mars, the Beaneaters improved to 75-71.

Carl Lawson drew 1 walk for Boston. The 28-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Chet Ward. It was his 37th RBI of the season.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Beaneaters manager Mario Pujols.
