Mud Hens Win at Home, 5-2
|
Toledo Mud Hens starter Michael Farley found his groove in his team's 5-2 win over the Louisville Sluggers. Steve Greer earned the save, his 6th, for the Mud Hens. The Mud Hens, now 12-4, have played some good baseball in the early going.
Making an impact for Toledo was third baseman Ramon Duran. Big Dog drilled a run-scoring triple off Walter Miller in the bottom of the third. For the game, Duran went 1-3 with a triple and a walk.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Duran told the Toledo Herald.
